Kathmandu – Talented contestants from across the world have started arriving in Kathmandu to participate in the highly anticipated international Nepali reality shows Mero Voice Universe and Mero Dance Universe. Organized by the Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation, the shows aim to unite Nepali communities across the globe through the power of culture and entertainment.

Chairperson of the Foundation, Mr. Dilli Adhikari, personally welcomed the arriving participants at Tribhuvan International Airport. Speaking on the occasion, he expressed hope that this global cultural movement will foster unity among Nepali people worldwide and bring their talents to the international stage.

According to the Foundation, contestants arriving this Saturday hail from neighboring Bhutan to countries as far as Europe. For Mero Voice Universe, participants include 4 from Bhutan, 7 from Dubai, 5 from Hong Kong, 5 from Qatar, 2 from Portugal, 1 from Myanmar, and 5 from Mumbai, India.

For many of the contestants from Bhutan and Myanmar, this is their first visit to Nepal. They expressed their overwhelming gratitude to the organizers and shared the emotional significance of setting foot in their ancestral homeland. “We feel blessed to finally be in Nepal, the land of our forefathers,” some of them remarked, proudly embracing the opportunity after generations.

More contestants from other countries are also en route to Kathmandu to join the competition, the organizers confirmed.

A total of 120 contestants for Mero Voice Universe and another 120 for Mero Dance Universe have been selected through auditions held in various countries around the world. The Intra Foundation is providing all necessary arrangements for the participants in Kathmandu, including accommodation and meals.

Both shows will be broadcast on Nepal Television, promising to bring a global celebration of Nepali talent and identity to audiences both at home and abroad.
